Configure Cengage Tool
Review your Cengage tool settings and make any necessary changes. When your settings are correct, synchronize the tool's placement so instructors can easily add Cengage content.
Sign in to lms-name as an administrator.
Click Admin to open Administrator Tools.
Under Integrations, click LTI Tool Providers.
Next to the Cengage tool, click
› Edit.If there is no Cengage tool installed, Set Up New Integration.
Set the following options:

Next to the Cengage tool, click
› Manage Placements.If you have an existing Cengage tool placement, click
next to the tool name and click Delete.Click Synchronize Placements.
The Cengage deep linking tool is added to your Administrator Tools.
Click Close Administrator Panel to return to your Stream.
Migrate Cengage Content from Partner Cloud
Click Admin to open Administrator Tools.
On your Administrator Panel under Tools and Utilities, click Cengage Content Migration.
Click Migration Service Settings.
Locate the Toggle Cengage Learning Mindlinks Partner Cloud Course Migration Settings panel.
Turn ON the option labeled When set to ON, the migration service will have the ability to migrate a course that contains Cengage Partner Cloud content.
The Consumer Key is not required.
To let instructors migrate their own courses, turn ON the option labeled When set to ON, Connect Partner Cloud migration service will be accessed by the instructor role users.
Click Submit.
On the Cengage Migration Tool panel, click Migrate Courses with Cengage Partner Cloud Content.
Select courses to migrate.
Search for courses to migrate and click Go.
- Specific courses: Search by course ID
- All courses: Search Course ID Not blank
- Template courses: Select Parent Courses Only
At the bottom of the search results, click Show All to list all courses on the same page.
Courses must be shown on your current page of search results to be migrated in bulk.
Select courses to migrate.
To select all courses, click next to Course ID at the top of the search results.
Click Submit.
To prevent instructors adding content with the wrong tool, remove the Partner Cloud tool.
On your Administrator Panel under Cloud Management, click Partner Cloud Settings.
On the Cengage tool, set Content and Tools to Off.
Click Submit.
Your courses begin migration. Your school's primary administrator will be notified by email when all courses are migrated.
To view migration status, click Migration Run Status.
If migration takes longer than 24 hours, contact Blackboard support.
