Enroll with Enrollment Link

Use the enrollment link your instructor gave you to join your WebAssign course.
If your instructor did not give you an enrollment link, see Class Key.
  1. Click your course enrollment link.
  2. Click Access Course.
  3. Click Continue.
  4. If needed, sign in or create a Cengage account.

    Sign in

    1. Enter your username and click Next.
    2. Enter your password and click Sign In.

    Create an Account

    1. Click Create Account.
    2. When asked if you're a student, click Yes.
    3. Enter your institutional email address and click Next.
    4. Enter the requested information.
    5. Select I agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and click Next.
      Cengage sends you an activation email.
    6. Open the activation email and click Activate Cengage Account.
    7. Set your password.
      Note
      Your password must contain:
      • at least 8 characters
      • a lowercase letter
      • an uppercase letter
      • a number
      • no parts of your username
  5. If needed, enter your access code, purchase your course materials, or proceed with temporary access.

    Temporary access:

    You can access your WebAssign course without payment during its grace period. The grace period starts when the course is first available and lasts up to 14 days, depending on the course length.

    1. Click Continue.

    Enter access code:

    You have an access code if you purchased from your school bookstore or an online retailer.

    1. Click Enter Access Code.
    2. Enter your access code and click Register.

    Purchase course materials:

    1. Click Buy Now.
    2. Click Buy Product or Buy Cengage Unlimited.
    3. Review the items in your cart and click Check Out.
    4. Enter your billing address and click Continue.
    5. Select your payment method and enter your payment information.
