Mastery Question Sets

Mastery question sets are groups of closely related questions. You must answer a specified minimum number of the questions correctly to earn credit. The entire mastery set is graded as one question, and partial credit is not possible.

Mastery question sets are labeled Mastery Question Set in your assignment.

In this example, you must answer 2 of the 3 questions correctly to earn full credit, and you have 5 attempts.

  1. Enter an answer to the first question and click Submit Answer.

  2. To move on to the next question, click Next in Set.

    You can click the question numbers to view and answer the questions out of order.

  3. Repeat the first two steps until you have completed the mastery question set.

  4. If you did not meet the minimum number of correct answers required for credit, click New Attempt to try again with different versions of each question.

    The number of attempts you are allowed is set by your instructor.

    If you have not answered all questions in the mastery question set when the New Attempt button displays, you can complete the remaining questions as practice.
