Create a student Cengage account for yourself and contact Cengage Support Services to convert it to a Teaching Assistant (TA) account. A TA account has an instructor dashboard, and can view the course they're added to as an instructor. TA accounts may have limited abilities to view and affect the gradebook based on settings customized by the instructor.

Display Notation with LaTeX
You can include LaTeX markup to display well-formatted math notation in your questions and assignments in WebAssign. Unlike WaTeX, LaTeX is displayed as a static image in your questions and does not offer the flexibility to include answer boxes in your math notation.
Can quizzes and tests be customized?
Quizzes and Chapter Tests (not Practice Tests) can be customized with the randomize feature. This will randomize the quiz or test for each student that it is assigned to. Randomized quizzes and tests are equivalent in both item difficulty and item order.

When you create chemPad questions that are answered with electrochemical cell notation, your students must enter the notation in the manner prescribed by the answer key, so, for example, Zn( s ) | ZnSO4( aq ) || CuSO4( aq ) | Cu( s ) can not be substituted for Zn( s ) | Zn+2( aq ) || Cu+2( aq ) | Cu( s ). Your students can specify charges in various ways, for example, either Mg2+ or Mg+2.

On Math & YOU, assessments are provided at point of use in the Learning Path , making it easy to develop assessments and assign them all at the same time. All assessments also come with a practice version to help students prepare for the assessment.
Editing Assignment Details
Navigate to Assignment › Upcoming tab. Click on the three dots next to the assignment under Actions, then click Edit . Assignments in the Now and Past tabs cannot be edited. Edit the assignment details in the Specify Details step. All fields will be editable. Add, remove or reset the assignees in the Select Assignees step. The assignee type will default to Individual Students and cannot be changed to Groups. Select SAVE to apply the changes.
