Edit Google Drive Document Settings

You can track the content source, rights, and attribution information of your Google Drive content in MindTap.

  1. In the toolbar, click My Content.
  2. Click Google Drive.

    The first time you access Google Drive, grant MindTap access to manage your Google Drive files:

    1. Click Sign in and sign in to the Google account you want to use.
    2. When prompted to grant access to your Google account, click Allow.

    Your Google Drive files are listed.

  3. Click Edit for the file.

    The icon is shown only when you point to the file.

  4. Select whether to share the document with your students.
  5. Optional: Specify the source and ownership of the intellectual property for the content being shared.
    Source
    Location of the original content, if not created by you.
    Usage Rights
    License or usage restrictions.
    Attribution
    The content author and whether the content is used with permission.
  6. Click Save.
Tip Click a tab at the top of the page to filter the listed content by type.
