Drop Lowest Score

You can automatically drop each student's lowest activity scores for each category or for uncategorized activities.

Dropped activity scores are not considered in category average or grade calculations.

Activity scores are not dropped if doing so would lower the student's overall grade.

Because manually dropped activities are not considered in grade calculations, they are not dropped when you drop the lowest score.

  1. In the toolbar, click Progress.
  2. Click the Settings tab.
  3. Turn on Drop Lowest Score.
  4. Enter the number of activity scores to drop for each category.

    You can drop up to 9 scores per category. The number of dropped scores must be also less than the number of for-credit activities in the category.

  5. Click Save.
