Upload Files to Google Drive

You can upload files to Google Drive to share with students in your MindTap course.

  1. In the toolbar, click My Content.
  2. Click Google Drive.

The first time you access Google Drive, grant MindTap access to manage your Google Drive files:

    1. Click Sign in and sign in to the Google account you want to use.
    2. When prompted to grant access to your Google account, click Allow.

Your Google Drive files are listed.

  3. Click Upload.
  4. Click Browse and select the file to upload.
  5. Select whether to share the document with your students.
  6. Optional: Specify the source and ownership of the intellectual property for the content being shared.
    Source
Location of the original content, if not created by you.
    Usage Rights
    License or usage restrictions.
    Attribution
The content author and whether the content is used with permission.
  7. Click Upload.
Note After signing in and granting access, you can share your content in any MindTap course.

Sometimes a warning incorrectly displays that the upload failed because of insufficient permissions. If this happens, close the My Content panel and then reopen it to check if the file uploaded successfully.
