Add an Instructor

Primary instructors can add other instructors (or TAs) to their MindTap courses.

To add an instructor, you must be the primary instructor of a course. Added instructors must have existing Cengage accounts.

  1. Sign in at login.cengage.com.
  2. Click My Courses.
  3. Locate your course and click expand course.
  4. Click Edit Section.
  5. Click Add Instructor.
  6. Enter the instructor's email address and click Add instructor.

    The instructor must already have an account with the specified email address.

  7. Click Save.
  8. In the Instructor Resource Center, go to Manage Courses.
  9. Click Edit icon for your MindTap course.
  10. Under Course Information, click Add Additional Instructor or TA.
  11. Type an email address corresponding to a Cengage instructor or student account, and then click Add.

    Instructor accounts are added as co-instructors; student accounts as TAs.

  12. Click Save Changes.
